Job summary

Metropolitan Veterinary Associates in Harmonville, PA, is seeking motivated professionals to join our animal-care team. This full-time role offers hands-on work with pets in a busy veterinary hospital and a schedule Sunday through Wednesday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

You’ll work in a friendly environment that values patient care, teamwork, and clear client communication. Starting pay is $18 per hour, with benefits including 401(k), paid time off, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Have professional experience working with animals — this is required. Examples include experience in a veterinary hospital, pet store, doggy daycare, grooming facility, kennel, animal shelter, zoo, or similar animal-care environment.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and genuinely enjoy interacting with people
• Are confident handling questions, concerns, and emotional situations with patience and compassion
• Can stay organized and composed while juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospital
• Enjoy problem-solving and finding ways to help
• Are dependable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Are comfortable discussing pets, veterinary services, and client needs with confidence and professionalism
• Veterinary, medical, customer service, or administrative experience is a plus.
