VCA Old Marple Animal Hospital is seeking a part-time Client Service Specialist to join a supportive, pet-focused team. This front-desk role emphasizes exceptional client service, greeting clients, handling phones, and guiding pets to exam rooms.

You will support doctors, manage appointments, process payments, and explain services and fees while maintaining accurate records and a welcoming atmosphere for every client and pet parent.

Responsibilities

VCA Old Marple Animal Hospital is looking for a part time \"Client Service Specialist\" who enjoys being part of a supportive and dedicated team that focuses on quality patient care and excellent client service..

We are focused on finding a part time \"Client Service Specialist\" to join our team of professionals and will consider a part time as well! You will have the advantage of working with a collaborative team while maintaining a work and quality of life balance.

As the face of VCA, the Client Service Specialist sets the tone for our practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities.

Responsibilities

• Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.


• Excellent follow through

• Scheduling and confirming appointments.


• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.


• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.


• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.


• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).


• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.


• Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times-both inside and outside.
