VCA Old Marple Animal Hospital in Springfield Township, PA is hiring a Part-time Client Service Specialist to join our caring team. The shift is 8p–midnight, offering a chance to grow with a supportive group dedicated to quality patient care and excellent client service for pets and their families.

As the face of our practice, you will greet clients, answer phones, schedule appointments, explain fees, manage patient records, and help keep the clinic neat and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary or medical front desk is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and contacting prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Maintaining hospital cleanliness and organization.

VCA Old Marple Animal Hospital is hiring Client Service Representatives to join our supportive and dedicated team that focuses on quality patient care and excellent client service. This shift will be from 8p - Midnight.

We are a dedicated team (more like family) that goes out of our way to make each other look good while delivering exceptional quality medicine for our patients with excellent customer service for their pet parents. We take pride in being an AAHA accredited cat only hospital.

We are focused on finding a part time “Client Service Specialist” to join our team of professionals and will consider a part time as well! You will have the advantage of working with a collaborative team while maintaining a work and quality of life balance.

As the face of VCA, the Client Service Specialist sets the tone for our practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities.

The Client Service Specialist is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:

• Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.

• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.


• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.


• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).


• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.


• Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.
