Job summary

West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center is seeking a full-time Client Service Representative to join our Huntington front desk team. You will warmly greet clients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and manage registrations and payments in a fast-paced veterinary setting.

As a CSR you will collaborate with veterinarians and technicians, maintain accurate medical records, and provide clear updates and follow-ups to clients with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of veterinary client service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional in busy or emotional situations.
• Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and veterinary software.

We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our front desk team.

As one of the first and last people our clients interact with, you will help create a compassionate, organized, and supportive experience during some of the most emotional moments of pet ownership. This position is ideal for someone with veterinary hospital experience who thrives in a busy environment, communicates with empathy, and can confidently manage multiple priorities.

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:

• Welcome clients and patients with professionalism, empathy, and compassion
• Answer high-volume phone calls while appropriately prioritizing urgent patient needs
• Coordinate emergency walk-ins and scheduled appointments
• Accurately register patients and maintain electronic medical records
• Collect patient histories and verify client information
• Process invoices, payments, deposits, and other financial transactions
• Communicate clearly with veterinarians and technicians regarding patient flow
• Provide clients with updates, discharge instructions, and follow-up communication
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Support efficient hospital workflow through teamwork and collaboration
