Brookfield Animal Hospital in Brookfield, CT is seeking a compassionate Client Service Representative to join our AAHA accredited, fast-paced hospital. You’ll answer calls, greet clients, schedule appointments, and help maintain patient records while delivering friendly, professional service to pet owners.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone calls quickly, efficiently and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system.
• Warmly greets clients.
• Maintains appointment schedules.
• Receives and relays client correspondence and updates client financial records.
• Answers client inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures.
• Educates clients on over-the-counter products such as flea and tick preventions.
• Handles medical records entries accurately.
• Prepares client invoices for services performed.
• Handles payment transactions.
• Receives and relays telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly.
• Builds rapport with clients in person and over the phone.

Brookfield Animal Hospital is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Client Service Representative to our team. At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Brookfield Animal Hospital is an AAHA accredited 3 DVM fully equipped small animal hospital proudly serving the Brookfield, CT community. We are compassionate, friendly and completely committed to quality veterinary care for our patients and individualized service for our clients. At Brookfield Animal Hospital, you will be part of a team that provides the highest quality medicine and surgery with ultrasound, blood pressure and pulse oximeter anesthetic monitors and dental radiology in a fun working environment that promotes teamwork and personal growth.

$18- $21.50 an hour (based on experience)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR is preferred but not required

• Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment

• Must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people
