Job summary

Rarebreed Veterinary Partners in Allentown, PA, seeks a Client Service Representative to be the first voice clients hear and the first face they see. You will guide families through stressful moments with calm, clarity, and compassion, coordinating with the medical team to support pets and their owners.

This role emphasizes strong communication, emotional intelligence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience required (veterinary experience preferred but not required).
• Ability to stay calm and organized in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
• Answer multi-line phones and triage calls appropriately.
• Check patients in and out, ensuring accuracy of information and documentation.
• Communicate clearly with medical teams regarding patient arrivals and client needs.
• Provide estimates, collect payments, and review invoices with clients.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and managing hospital flow.
• Support difficult conversations with compassion, including emergencies and end-of-life care.
• Ensure all client interactions align with hospital policies and standards.

The Role

As a Client Service Representative at EPVMC, you are the first voice clients hear and the first face they see. In moments that are often stressful, emotional, or overwhelming, you bring calm, clarity, and compassion.

You are not "just answering phones."
You are guiding clients through uncertainty.
You are helping families make decisions.
You are the connection between the client and the medical team.

This role requires strong communication, emotional intelligence, and the ability to think clearly in a fast-paced, 24/7 hospital environment.

What You'll Do

• Greet clients and patients with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency

Compensation: $19.00-$21.00/hour
