Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists in Williston, VT is seeking a Client Service Representative to support overnight operations at Vermont’s only 24/7 emergency animal hospital and specialty center.

Focused on client care, you will handle calls, greet clients, relay messages, and assist with basic animal care inquiries while maintaining accurate records and invoices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Veterinary receptionist experience preferred but not required.
• Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone calls quickly, efficiently and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system.
• Warmly greets clients.
• Receives and relays client correspondence and updates client financial records.
• Answers client’s inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures.
• Educates clients on over-the-counter products such as flea and tick preventions.
• Admits patients and handles medical records entries accurately.
• Prepares client invoices for services performed.
• Receives and relays telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR is preferred but not required
• Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment
