Job summary

United Business Bank in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Client Service Manager to lead the Los Angeles branch operations and day-to-day activities. The role focuses on delivering exceptional client service, managing staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The CSM will oversee teller operations, deposits, new accounts, and other branch activities, while developing employees and maintaining branch profitability in a dynamic retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible retail or branch banking experience.
• Prior leadership, supervisory, or people-management experience preferred.

United Business Bank is looking for an experienced Client Service Manager (Branch Service/Branch Operations Manager) for our Los Angeles Office - Retail Bank Management Experience is required.

POSITION PURPOSE

The Client Service Manager (CSM) is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operation of an assigned branch. This position ensures effective branch operations, exceptional client service, appropriate staffing, employee development, and compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The CSM leads and develops branch personnel, manages operational performance, branch profitability, supports client relationships, and ensures deposit, teller, new accounts, and other branch activities are performed accurately and efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Certification(s) Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant banking experience may be considered.

Education Required:

• Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible retail or branch banking experience.
• Prior leadership, supervisory, or people-management experience preferred.
• Experience with teller operations and consumer and business deposit accounts.

Skills/Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of branch banking operations, teller functions, and consumer and business deposit products.
• Working knowledge of applicable banking regulations, operational controls, and standard banking practices.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and employee-development skills.
• Strong client service and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to manage branch operations, staffing priorities, workflow, and competing deadlines.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills with the ability to appropriately resolve or elevate operational and personnel matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive client and employee information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and effectively utilize Bank systems and platforms.

Hiring Salary Range:

$70,304 to $90,000.
