Summary Of Job Purpose And Function
The Client Service Coordinator ("CSC") manages client and pet flow through the hospital, maximizes veterinary team productivity, ensures effective communication with clients and associates, and coordinates care in a friendly, welcoming, and efficient manner to encourage client retention and referrals.
Essential Responsibilities And Tasks
- Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
- Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and managing client flow for optimal care and team productivity.
- Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through efficient hospital operations to support wellness plan clients.
- Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service, including welcoming clients and pets, ensuring their comfort, and educating them about pet health.
- Educate clients about wellness plans, preventative care, pet health needs, and hospital services.
- Assist incoming clients with documentation, entering pet information, and ensuring prompt service.
- Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, dispensing prescriptions, retail sales, and scheduling.
- Manage finances with accurate balances and proper procedures.
- Perform administrative functions as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 18 years old for radiography duties.
- One year of related customer service experience preferred.
- Medical background and terminology training are advantageous.
