Job summary

TELUS Health in the US seeks a mathematically driven Client Service Analyst II to join our DB Large Market team, handling complex pension calculations and direct client interaction. Responsibilities

  • Respond to plan inquiries and requests from clients promptly and professionally
  • Assist in calculating and processing termination, retirement, and death benefits for simple plans
  • Support the consulting team in fostering strong relationships with clients
  • Help coordinate information flow between clients and trustees
  • Assist in reconciling plan assets and plan memberships
  • Support the preparation of year-end annual pension statements
  • Assist in preparing membership and asset data for actuarial valuations
  • Apply and interpret basic pension benefit calculations in accordance with plan provisions and legislative requirements
  • Work with pension databases to ensure data accuracy
  • Attend internal training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and topics
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to add value
  • Assist with special projects as required to support team goals

We are seeking a mathematically-driven Client Service Analyst II to join our DB Large Market team. This is not a typical administrative role; it is a technical position requiring a high aptitude for complex pension calculations and the ability to navigate intricate financial data. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who enjoys variety; moving from internal calculations to client interactions and special projects.

You have...
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Mathematics or Actuarial Science
  • Proven ability to perform complex calculations in real-time.
  • A self-starter with a positive outlook and a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible enough to float between different client projects as needed.
Nice-to-Haves
  • 1-3+ years of professional experience.
  • Prior experience in Pension or Benefits Administration.
  • Experience within a call center environment (if paired with the required math degree).

Salary Range: $60,000.00 - 67,000.00 USD Annual

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
