Job summary

HealthRIGHT 360 in San Francisco is seeking a Client Safety Navigator to maintain a safe environment for clients, staff, and visitors. You will control gates, check clients in after appointments, verify visitors, and direct them to a supervisor on duty.

Responsibilities include conducting house runs, documenting updates, performing safety checks, de-escalating tense situations, and collaborating with service providers to maintain orderly operations; weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience counseling or teaching adults and/or facilitating workshops.
• Familiarity with supportive counseling strategies and recovery principles.
• Lived experience with community behavioral health or criminal justice system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety at the facility front desk or residential floors.
• Welcome clients after appointments; check-in and bag for contraband.
• Greet visitors, verify credentials, sign-in, and escort to supervisor on duty.
• Conduct house runs to verify rooms and chores; report findings in writing.
• Document client updates in the facility log daily; may work weekends/holidays.
• Perform regular facility rounds to monitor entrances, exits, and common areas.
