Job summary

Banc of California is hiring a Customer Relationship Officer to process transactions accurately and in line with policies. The role supports Tellers and maintains service quality across branch operations while upholding security and regulatory requirements.

You will help reference financial products to meet client needs, participate in audits, and maintain branch and ATM cash controls, with focus on risk mitigation and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Two years' recent branch operations experience.
• Understanding of Treasury Management and wire policies.
• Familiarity with branch systems; basic Word and Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and problem-solving.
• Ability to handle operational responsibilities and customer service.
• Strong client service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for internal/external partners.
• Stay current with products and procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under guidance.
• Risk awareness and appropriate decision-making.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Operations Manager with Teller support and risk mitigation.
• Approve customer transactions within limits (Cashier’s Checks, wires, deposits).
• Apply banking policies to daily tasks.
• Assist branch audits and certification results.
• Maintain branch and ATM cash limits and security.
• Respond to emails and requests from back-office and other units.
• Identify customer needs and refer financial products.
• Follow established policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
