Job summary

U.S. Bank in California is seeking a Relationship Banker to build trust-based client relationships by understanding financial needs and guiding them to suitable deposit and loan products. You will open accounts, process transactions, and educate customers on digital self-service options, aiming for accurate, efficient service.

You’ll work with branch colleagues to deliver personalized solutions, leveraging digital tools and proactive outreach to support customers at the branch and via channels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs.
• Maintains a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services including digital products and self-service technologies.
• Provides a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
• Develops collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications.
• Proactively educates clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs.
• Leverages available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and serve our clients with operational excellence and accuracy.
