Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Client Relationship Consultant to support customers across retail and business banking. You will build relationships through in-person, appointment-based, and virtual engagement, assess needs, and educate clients on deposit, loan products, and digital self-service options.

You will open accounts, process requests, and conduct proactive outreach while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail banking experience for Client Relationship Consultant 1
• 3–4 years for Client Relationship Consultant 2
• 4–5 years for Client Relationship Consultant 3
• 5+ years for Client Relationship Consultant 4
• NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act and Regulation Z
• Background check and credit check required

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers through in-person, appointment-based, and virtual engagement
• Assess customers’ banking needs and obtain and process customer and account information
• Demonstrate and educate clients on deposit and loan products and services
• Recommend solutions based on customers’ unique goals and needs
• Conduct proactive outreach and follow-up with clients
• Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products, services, digital products, and self-service technologies
• Greet clients and process basic transactions
• Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners
• Open new consumer and business accounts
• Complete service requests and submit credit applications
• Educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services
• Leverage resources and technologies to optimize client experience and operational accuracy
