Job summary

• High school diploma or GED with one year of banking experience and two years of cash handling and customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrates banking and product knowledge.
• Strong relationship and sales skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
• Must maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
• Must complete teller training classes.
• Must complete product knowledge, account maintenance, and account opening training classes.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Open accounts for customers and prepare new account paperwork.
• Request required identification and conduct teller transactions accurately.
• Handle cash vault transactions and balance cash drawers.
• Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to bank policies and controls.
• Assist customers in identifying needs and offering appropriate products and services.
• Contribute to branch team scorecard goals and personal performance metrics.
• Support internal controls and daily report follow-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
