Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Client Relationship Consultant to build trusted client relationships across in-person, appointment-based and digital channels. You will educate customers on deposit and loan products and assist with account openings while delivering a digital-first client experience.

The role requires strong communication skills, retail banking experience, and the ability to explain products clearly. A Spanish-language capability is required; a background and credit check will be conducted

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has a minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs by effectively engaging and communicating with clients.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications.
• Proactively educates clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs.
