Job summary

Telhio Credit Union in Worthington, OH is seeking a Relationship Banker to serve as a trusted advisor to our member-owners. You will uncover needs, explain products, and deliver extraordinary service while handling daily transactions and account openings.

This full-time role supports cash handling, IRA/HSA tasks, and cross-selling Telhio solutions. You will work Monday–Friday 9am–6pm with rotating Saturdays, participate in audits, and contribute to the credit union’s community-focused mission.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in member/customer service required.
• 1-3 years experience in financial services preferred.
• Notary license required upon hire.
• NMLS designation required upon hire.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Background check including credit, drug screen, bondability, and criminal background required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all transactions in DNA accurately and efficiently (cash withdrawals, deposits, loan payments).
• Process Credit Card payments in our 3rd party portal.
• Perform all IRA/HSA/etc. transactions in Ascensus.
• Open IRAs and HSAs in Ascensus.
• Process member requests for wires as needed.
• Inform Members about products, services and current promotions.
• Cross-sell credit union products by answering inquiries and guiding to appropriate representatives.
• Maintain compliance with Telhio policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Balance cash drawers accurately.
• Participate in dual-control procedures for security.
• Assist in audits as requested.
• Open all consumer accounts in DNA.
• Perform account maintenance for consumer and business members.
• Process disputes for consumer and business members.
• Close loans for members in branch.
