Job description

At AnswerRocket, we build transformative AI solutions that drive measurable results for Fortune 2000 enterprises. For over a decade, we've helped industry leaders across sectors—from consumer goods and retail to healthcare and financial services—harness AI to achieve tangible business outcomes.

As a Client Partner, you'll drive a multimillion-dollar portfolio while championing client success from initial engagement to long-term value creation. You'll architect AI solutions that transform how global organizations leverage their data, build high-performing teams, and forge C-suite relationships to scale our GenAI consulting business. The ideal candidate blends business acumen with AI expertise to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Client Engagements. Hold full P&L accountability — revenue, margin, utilization, and pipeline — for an assigned client portfolio, typically generating $5–20M in annual services revenue.
  • Drive growth. Lead the entire sales cycle by identifying whitespace, crafting deal strategy, negotiating contracts, and closing new, renewal, and expansion deals to meet or exceed annual quota.
  • Build C-suite relationships. Cultivate trusted-advisor status with CIO/CMO/COO-level executives; translate their strategic objectives into GenAI roadmaps.
  • Lead Strategic Governance. Create multi-year account plans, quarterly business reviews, and risk/issue logs; partner with delivery leads to ensure on-time, on-budget projects and top-quartile client-satisfaction scores.
  • Thought leadership. Bring forward-looking POVs on GenAI, LLMs, and intelligent automation; publish insights, speak at industry events, and influence AnswerRocket IP investment.
  • Team & talent management. Lead and mentor cross-functional consulting teams; manage staffing mix, coach career growth, and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.
  • Alliances & ecosystem. Leverage technology partners (cloud, data-platform, AI) to co-sell integrated solutions and accelerate client outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years in management consulting / professional services, including 5+ years owning account P&L or quota ≥ $5M.
  • Proven record of closing complex analytics/data/AI deals and expanding enterprise accounts.
  • Deep understanding of GenAI, analytics, and modern cloud data stacks; able to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Demonstrated success building C-level relationships and influencing digital-transformation agendas.
Experience leading distributed consulting teams and governing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Exceptional communication, financial acumen, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience building and activating strategic technology partnerships (cloud, data platforms, AI) to co-sell solutions and accelerate client outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills with a willingness to travel 50% or more as needed for client engagements, prospect meetings, industry conferences, internal team gatherings, and related business needs.

Preferred Experience

  • Background at a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., Deloitte, EY, Accenture, Slalom, Publicis, etc.)
  • Domain expertise in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or other data-rich industries.
  • Track record of developing alliance-based GTM strategies with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or AI platforms
  • Familiarity with data-visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI) and MLOps best practices.

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
