Client Operations Specialist - Strategic Manager

Job Overview

The Client Operations Specialist – Manager is responsible for coaching, managing, and developing a team of approximately 10 Client Operations Specialists. This team primarily supports a field sales organization with quoting, strategic pricing, order placement, client service, and issue resolution. The team aims to support gross margin objectives by enabling account managers to focus more on sales and ensuring a smooth buying process for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize, direct, and motivate the COS team to align with strategic objectives.
  • Set and monitor quarterly goals for team members.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations to improve processes.
  • Develop and train team members, providing ongoing coaching.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide guidance on quote/order scenarios.
  • Serve as an escalation point for the regional director.
  • Balance workload among team members.
  • Create and maintain reports on team performance metrics.
  • Maintain training and reference documentation.
  • Conduct performance reviews.
  • Build scalable processes as the sales team grows.
  • Manage month/quarter-end activities.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent; or related experience/training.
  • Minimum 2 years in B2B sales or client services.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to build relationships, prioritize tasks, and lead remotely.

This position can be hired remotely anywhere in the U.S. The role reports to the regional director and involves managing 8-10 direct reports.
