Job summary

BNY is seeking a candidate for a middle-office loan and brokerage operations support role based in Pittsburgh, PA. The position involves handling high-volume transactions, reconciling data, and supporting analytics, with an onsite schedule of 4 days per week from 8:00am to 5:00pm ET.

This contract assignment with Tundra Technical Solutions offers structured training, a ramp-up of 2–3 months, and exposure to asset servicing.

Qualifications

Job Summary

This role supports middle-office loan and brokerage operations, providing critical client service, transaction processing, and analytical support. The position is based in Pittsburgh, PA, with an onsite expectation of 4 days per week, working 8:00am-5:00pm ET. The individual will handle high-volume transactional activity, review external notices, resolve discrepancies, and support timely issue resolution across internal teams. This is a hands-on role with structured training, shadowing, and a ramp-up period of approximately 2-3 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Service & Transaction Support: Perform routine and non-routine client service and transactional support functions within a daily operations environment.
• Reconciliation & Problem Solving: Read notices and external documents, reconcile data discrepancies related to rates, maturities, and payments, and elevate issues appropriately.
• Analytics & Reporting: Support analytics and reporting needs while contributing to improvements and automation of transaction processing systems.
• Stakeholder & Portfolio Support: Liaise with internal teams, including Corporate Actions, and support assigned portfolios from onboarding through maturity; interact with issuers and brokers and manage a high-volume ticket queue (approximately 800-1,000 items).

Preferred Experience

• Experience in brokerage processing
• Prior loan operations or middle-office experience within financial services
• Exposure to corporate or public finance, treasury services, or asset servicing
• Experience working in high-volume, ticket-driven operational environments
• Corporate banking experience

Pay Rate Range

25 - 30 USD hourly
