Job summary

Bank of New York (BNY) is seeking an energetic professional to master end‑to‑end order processing for alternative investments. You will review subscriptions and redemptions, ensure data integrity, and coordinate complex cash movements to meet tight timelines.

The role is onsite in Lake Mary, FL four days per week, with a potential conversion at contract end. You will partner across teams, custodians, and fund administrators to keep transactions flowing with precision, while exercising judgment,

Job Summary

Looking for a high‑energy professional eager to master end‑to‑end order processing; from intake and document validation through trade execution and settlement, playing a critical role in delivering a seamless client experience. You’ll drive the review of Alternative Investment subscriptions and redemptions, ensure data integrity, resolve exceptions in real time, and coordinate complex cash movements to meet demanding timelines.

You’ll operate at the center of the business—partnering across teams, custodians, and fund administrators to keep transactions flowing with precision and speed. Success requires strong judgment, a control mindset, and the ability to communicate clearly under pressure while solving problems proactively.

The role is based onsite in Lake Mary, FL (4 days per week). Conversion is possible at the end of the contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Trade & Order Management: Process subscription, redemption, transfer, and exchange activity end-to-end, ensuring transactions are accurately entered, reviewed, and completed within established service level agreements.
• Operations & Controls: Validate transaction details, funding instructions, documentation, and account requirements while maintaining strong operational controls and adherence to regulatory and firm policies.
• Workflow & Inbox Management: Monitor and manage shared inboxes and workflow queues, prioritizing daily order activity, client requests, and time-sensitive transactions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Financial Advisors, custodians, asset managers, transfer agents, and internal support teams to facilitate transaction processing, resolve exceptions, and meet client deadlines.
• Communication & Stakeholder Support: Provide clear and professional communication to internal and external stakeholders, proactively addressing inquiries, escalating issues when necessary, and ensuring a positive client experience.
• Exception Management & Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve trade exceptions, rejected orders, funding discrepancies, and settlement-related issues while minimizing operational risk.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Maintain transaction records, support audit and reporting requirements, identify process improvement opportunities, and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team‑based environment
• Comfortable working in a back‑office, email‑driven operations role
• Ability to manage multiple workflows and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general documentation tools

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to alternative investments or fund onboarding operations
• Experience working in a shared inbox environment
• FINRA licensing (SIE, Series 99, Series 7)
• General compliance and risk awareness
