Job summary

Custom Goods Logistics is seeking an Implementation Manager to lead onboarding and integration of new clients within our 3PL network. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines and budgets, and serve as the primary liaison from project initiation through go-live and post-implementation support.

The role requires a strong background in supply chain technology, WMS/TMS, and client-focused delivery, with proven leadership of complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of PM or client implementation experience in a 3PL/logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of WMS, TMS, EDI and related logistics technologies.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proven track record leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire client onboarding process from discovery to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Serve as the main point of contact during implementation, managing expectations and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones; coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with IT to integrate WMS/TMS with client systems ensuring accuracy.
• Identify issues early, develop contingency plans, and resolve problems to protect timelines and deliverables.
• Create training materials and conduct sessions for internal teams and clients.
