Client Manager (Licensed Insurance Agent)

Hourly Rate: $25.74 per hour (non-negotiable)

Full-time, non-exempt, hourly position

Remote – U.S. Based

What you will do
Responsibilities
  • Your primary responsibility will be to attend to customer chats, calls, and emails. We do not cold call or solicit; our work revolves around inbound requests.
  • Assist customers in finding the lowest priced policy that best serves their needs without upselling.
  • When not engaged with customers, you may write articles for our website or help update our internal database.
  • Maintain your insurance license in coordination with Aardy, ensuring timely updates for any changes.
  • Successfully complete mandatory client manager training within your first 30 to 45 days of employment.
Requirements
You will have/be able to do the following (mandatory)
  • Valid Producer’s License with Line of Authority of Property Casualty (ideally with an expiration date 6 months or more in the future).
  • Minimum of one (1) year insurance sales experience.
  • Minimum of six (6) months experience in a 100% remote based position.
  • Strong command of the English language (verbal and written) and excellent communication skills.
  • Customer service experience, ideally in a call center environment.
  • Computer literate with the ability to navigate basic software programs such as Microsoft Office, Slack, Zoom, Salesforce, Email, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to work one weekend day as part of your weekly schedule.
Not mandatory, but nice to have
  • A travel insurance background would be an advantage.
  • Ideally, you will also hold A, H & L, but this is not required.
  • Ability to type 50 wpm.

In addition to the above, our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, inquisitive, honest, trustworthy, and transparent. They should be warm, empathetic, and have a sense of humor.

What we can offer you as a full-time employee
  • Competitive Hourly Rate: $25.74 per hour (non-negotiable).
  • Promotion to Senior Client Manager (with pay raise) after satisfactory 18 consecutive months in the position.
  • 15 days (120 hours) of PTO per year.
  • 6 Paid Holidays.
  • Retirement Plan: 401k safe harbor plan with up to a 6% company match.
  • ICHRA (Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement). Up to $550 per month for employee only and up to $750 for employee+dependent(s).

*This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position.
