Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Client Manager for Employee Health & Benefits to deliver outstanding client service and manage complex accounts. You will resolve claims, billing, and eligibility issues while guiding benefits consultants and coordinating renewal strategies.

The role involves leading RFP processes, negotiating with carriers, and overseeing enrollment workflows, with a focus on compliance and strategic client outcomes. A hybrid work model applies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum three years of Benefits/HR experience required.
  • Working knowledge of risk management techniques and Employee Health and Benefits markets.
  • Deep understanding of funding mechanisms and ability to share knowledge with stakeholders.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client service and manage client accounts effectively, resolving complex issues related to claims, billing and eligibility.
  • Lead the marketing process by gathering RFP documents and exploring negotiation opportunities.
  • Drive carrier negotiations and oversee technological implementations to ensure seamless client experience.
  • Prepare presentations, develop meeting agendas and coordinate plan documents for enrollment.
  • Collaborate with compliance resources to ensure regulatory adherence and oversee renewal lifecycle.
  • Engage with decision-makers to drive client strategy and oversee renewals.

Collaboration with compliance resources will ensure adherence to regulations.Your confidence in driving client strategy and engaging with decision-makers will be key - you will be responsible for overseeing the full benefits renewal lifecycle including monitoring deliverables. Ultimately, your commitment to outstanding client service and strategic initiatives will significantly enhance our client experience.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • A minimum three years of Benefits/HR experience required
  • Working knowledge of risk management techniques, including Employee Health and Benefits markets and marketing techniques
  • Deep understanding of various funding mechanisms and ability to share knowledge with a variety of stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
  • 3-6 years of experience in insurance broker space desired
  • Life & Health License or ability to obtain within 90 days

The applicable base salary range for this role is $64,700 to $120,400.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.We are excited to offer a competitive total rewards package which includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401K savings and other retirement programs as well as employee assistance programs.
