Job description

The Client Manager focuses on the retention and growth of existing TrueCommerce Mid-Market clients. You will have expertise in customer satisfaction and retention, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and business value. This role is centered on proactively growing and retaining relationships with existing customers in the Mid-Market space. A Client Manager must be confident, detail-oriented, and hardworking. To succeed, you need strong interpersonal communication, empathy, self-confidence, and a customer-oriented mindset. Join our growing Sales team!

This is a FULLY REMOTE ROLE!

As a Client Manager, your responsibilities include:

  1. Meeting or exceeding monthly sales quotas, including Bookings (upsell) and Net Retention targets.
  2. Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of mid-tier customers to prevent churn.
  3. Proactively contacting current customers to identify areas for improvement that benefit them.
  4. Responding promptly to customer requests via email and tasks.
  5. Maintaining high levels of opportunity follow-up and updating opportunities regularly.
  6. Serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for customers both internally and externally.
  7. Resolving customer issues and complaints to maintain ongoing trust.
  8. Keeping TrueCommerce CRM notes and activities up to date.
  9. Participating in department meetings and training to stay informed on industry trends.

Requirements for success:

  1. 3-5 years of Account Management or Customer Success experience with existing customers.
  2. A genuine desire to build and maintain customer relationships.
  3. Enjoys proactively reaching out to recommend solutions and upsell.
  4. Thrives on solution selling and adapts well to change.
  5. Strong technical aptitude.
  6. Excellent phone skills, listening skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Proven ability to build rapport with clients.
  8. Organizational skills with attention to detail.
  9. Working knowledge of EDI is a plus.
  10. Willingness to put in extra effort beyond normal hours.

Education:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
