Job summary

The Bruning Law Firm is seeking an Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact with potential clients. You will warmly greet callers, gather essential information, and guide them toward appropriate next steps while maintaining empathy and professionalism.

You will also serve as a backup receptionist, directing calls and visitors as needed and supporting the legal team with administrative tasks. The role emphasizes strong communication and client-focused service.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication with a passion for phone work.
• Demonstrated empathy and active listening in client interactions.
• Call center or customer service experience is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Opening is afternoons to evenings (1pm–9pm).
• Answer incoming calls with a positive, professional demeanor as the first point of contact.
• Conduct initial screenings of potential clients, gathering relevant information.
• Schedule consultations between potential clients and attorneys.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the client management system.
• Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to improve processes and enhance the client experience.
