Job summary

LEAPS and Beyond, Inc. seeks an Intake & Referral Coordinator to manage the full intake process for new clients and build relationships with referring providers and community partners. The role serves as the first contact for families, ensuring a smooth and timely onboarding experience.

The position requires strong organization, communication, and follow-through, with collaboration across clinical, administrative, and scheduling teams to ensure accurate documentation and program placement.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all new client inquiries (phone, email, online referrals).
• Conduct initial screenings to determine service eligibility and appropriate program placement (ABA, IDTC, H2020, etc.).
• Create and activate CentralReach accounts and complete intake documentation.
• Explain program expectations, schedules, and requirements; verify insurance benefits and authorizations.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to schedule assessments and services; track intake status.
