Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience overseeing client intake or related operational functions within a law firm, with leadership and strong performance.
• 3+ years of research experience; Intapp and Aderant are a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and database programs.
• Experience managing high-volume intake workflows across multiple offices and practice groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of the firm’s Client Intake Department to ensure timely review, analysis, and processing of new business intake requests, conflict search requests, and related inquiries.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce client intake policies to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with risk management standards.
• Supervise client intake specialists, including oversight of workflow distribution and timekeeping.
• Perform conflict searches related to new business intake, lateral hires, and special projects.
• Collaborate with Assistant General Counsel – Conflicts to support conflict research and resolution.
• Lead the training of Client Intake Specialists and onboarding of new Conflicts Attorneys.
• Support orientation initiatives for new attorneys and hires to promote compliance.
• Work with IT and vendors to implement system enhancements in client intake and conflicts software.
• Escalate high-risk matters to General Counsel for timely resolution.
• Oversee accurate entry and validation of client/matter information and ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate changes to client/matter accounts and billing records.
• Serve as primary contact for attorneys and staff on intake procedures and policy guidance.
• Monitor performance and identify efficiency and compliance improvements.
• Foster an inclusive culture and provide coaching to develop staff.
