We are working with a sophisticated, international, commercial transactions and litigation law firm based in Boston, Massachusetts seeking a savvy Client Intake Contract Attorney to work onsite in its Boston, New York, or Washington, D.C. office. We understand that the attorney will work on a full-time basis, for at least four (4) months, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some flexibility about starting times and ending times.

The attorney hired will review all new client request forms, engagement letters, and contracts in draft form for substantial or administrative changes and for spelling and other errors and discuss proposed changes, regularly, with practicing attorneys. The hired attorney will, in addition, check contracts and engagement letters for fulsome language and consult with practicing attorneys to determine whether or not a specific, contemplated duration of service should be included in said documents.

Candidates must be very familiar with the Model Rules of Professional Responsibility, as well as with the Rules of Professional Responsibility in Massachusetts, D.C., and New York. The capacity to check for new business conflicts of interest is desirable but not necessary. The compensation rate for this position is $85/hr.
