Executive Legal Recruiter | Attorney | Author and Independent Scholar

We are working with a sophisticated, international law firm based in Boston, Massachusetts, specializing in commercial transactions and litigation. The firm is seeking a savvy Client Intake Contract Attorney to work onsite in Boston, New York, or Washington, D.C. This is a full-time position for at least four (4) months, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some flexibility regarding start and end times.

The hired attorney will review new client request forms, engagement letters, and draft contracts for substantial or administrative changes, spelling, and other errors. The attorney will discuss proposed changes regularly with practicing attorneys. Additionally, the attorney will check contracts and engagement letters for comprehensive language and consult with attorneys to determine if specific, contemplated durations of service should be included.

Candidates must be very familiar with the Model Rules of Professional Responsibility and the Rules of Professional Responsibility in Massachusetts, D.C., and New York. Experience in checking for conflicts of interest is desirable but not necessary. The compensation rate for this position is $85/hr.
