Job summary

Business Law Group in New Orleans seeks a Case Evaluation & Client Intake Specialist to be the first conversation with potential clients. You will assess fit, manage scheduling, and provide marketing feedback from daily calls, impacting how we present our services across contracts, trademarks, M&A, and more.

You’ll own the client path from first contact through a booked consult, performing conflict checks and maintaining a clean pipeline across practice areas.

Qualifications

• Judgment across a range of situations, not just a friendly phone manner.
• Comfortable talking to a wide range of callers, from stressed business owners to employees.
• Attention to detail to avoid misrouting or missing information.
• Ability to own a full pipeline across multiple practice areas.
• Willingness to learn legal rules; no background required.
• Ability to say no directly and kindly when matter doesn’t fit.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inquiries against the right criteria for each practice area (contracts, trademarks, M&A, leasing, estate planning, licensing, wage claims).
• Apply screening criteria, including thresholds and scope for business matters and wage claims.
• Run conflict checks and own full path from first contact to booked consult.
• Track marketing channel and source for each lead in Clio Grow.
• Feed patterns from calls back to the firm to refine messaging.
