FirstService Residential is seeking a Client Accountant to manage accounting and financial reporting for a diverse HOA client base in Scottsdale, AZ. You’ll prepare statements, perform journal entries, reconcile balances, and ensure GAAP compliance for all actions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in HOA/real estate. In-office, full-time position with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Competenze

• Proficient in accrual basis accounting and GAAP compliance.
• Experience with general ledger entries and monthly close processes.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze financial data.
• Experience in HOA or property management accounting is preferred.

Mansioni

• Create and post general ledger journal entries for monthly close.
• Review financial statements and liaison with clients and property managers.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare schedules.
• Support budgeting and ad hoc financial analysis/reporting.
• Coordinate AR, AP, and banking activities and investigate variances.
• Assist boards and committees with accounting-related questions.
