Job summary

Absolute Storage Management is seeking an Assistant Manager to handle customer rentals in-person, over the phone, and via marketing channels. You will upsell moving supplies and insurance while delivering excellent service to identify storage needs and guide customers through the rental process.

The role requires a quick learner with strong communication and cash-handling skills, capable of maintaining the property and supporting daily operations at the Myrtle Beach location.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and ability to identify storage needs.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment preferred.
• Sales experience and ability to upsell insurance and moving supplies.
• Ability to read customers and provide clear information.
• A background screening will be conducted at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with renting units in-person, via phone, and through other marketing opportunities; enhance sales through rentals, insurance and moving supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by identifying storage needs and guiding customers through rental processes.
• Resolve issues professionally and positively.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the office, restrooms, grounds, and vacant units; keep records and perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Shop local competitors in-person and online; report information to supervisors and other departments; assist with marketing as needed.
• Monitor rates, specials, and revenue-related factors.
• Handle daily administrative tasks including cash handling, balancing receipts, posting payments, and deposits.
