The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America is seeking a Client Manager Associate, Select Market to support retention and growth of our group insurance business. You will partner with underwriting, sales, and plan administrators to deliver renewal options and expand existing relationships.

You will review renewal data, generate quotes, and communicate clearly with producers and clients. The role offers growth in group benefits expertise within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and effectively.
• Experience supporting customers, clients, producers, or sales organizations.
• Consultative, negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and performance goals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop renewal strategies with underwriting and sales teams.
• Negotiate rate relief and provide plan options to support client retention goals.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships with add-issue quotes and additional coverage solutions.
• Review experience reports and renewal data; provide clear recommendations to producers and plan administrators.
• Deliver renewal packages, rate information, and coverage options in a timely manner to producers, assistants, and planholders.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Guardian products, systems, processes, and workflows (Salesforce, CPS, Panorama).
