Job summary

Truist in Richmond, VA is seeking a Universal Banker to provide timely client transactions, educate clients on digital banking, and support sales and Integrated Relationship Management initiatives to meet customers' financial needs.

This role emphasizes delivering a distinctive client experience, maintaining accurate records, complying with policies, and working with branch teams to serve both consumer and business clients, with opportunities for weekend/extended hours and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by handling transactions with courtesy and accuracy.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service banking solutions.
• Support sales by outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training sessions.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
