Job summary

Columbia Bank in Bend, Oregon, seeks a Client Service Specialist (Teller) to be the first point of contact for clients. You will perform teller transactions, balance cash drawer, and handle deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers with accuracy and confidentiality.

Under guidance from the Branch Manager, you will identify customer needs, offer appropriate products, mitigate risk, and deliver an extraordinary client experience across in-person, phone, and electronic interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies and systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling accurately and confidentially.
• Balance cash drawer and process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers.
• Identify customer needs and offer appropriate bank products.
• Mitigate risk and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Provide exceptional client experiences across in-person, phone, and electronic channels.
