Columbia Bank is seeking a teller to be the first point of contact for clients at our Weiser branch. You will perform everyday banking transactions with accuracy and confidentiality while building relationships and uncovering client needs.

The role emphasizes understanding Columbia Bank's products and services, supporting branch referral goals, and maintaining compliance with bank procedures and regulations. Onsite work at 440 E Main Street, Weiser, ID.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail with written numbers, words, and instructions.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Always performs teller transactions and cash handling functions for clients with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Mitigates risk by ensuring safekeeping of money in cash drawer and transfer of funds.
• Interacts with external and internal clients, anticipates needs, and provides proactive solutions.
• Continuously deepens knowledge of Columbia Bank's products and services.
• Discusses and uncovers customer financial needs to offer appropriate products and services.
• Supports branch referral goals by identifying and referring basic bank products.
