Job summary

First Interstate Bank in Hamburg, IA is seeking a full-time Teller to handle daily lobby and drive-up transactions, delivering outstanding client service while developing client relationships.

You will process deposits and payments, balance cash drawers, and assist clients with referrals to other bank products, using 360View to record activities and maintain accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, loan payments, checks, and cash handling duties.
• Provide outstanding client service and maintain client relationships.
• Identify referral opportunities and direct clients to bankers for additional services.
• Record activities and referrals in 360View; process credit card applications.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and balance at shift end.
