Job description

Lee’s Foodservice Parts & Repairs provides repair and installation service to the food service industry. We are currently hiring a Service Coordinator. The Service Coordinator is responsible for managing the incoming service calls with the customers, technicians, and office personnel. The Service Coordinator must have Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scheduling and the follow-up on all incoming and ongoing service calls.

· Dispatch and communicate with the service technicians.

· Ensure service calls are completed in a timely fashion.

· Responsibility for managing work orders and the ability to recognize and prioritize emergency service calls.

• Monitor the accuracy of work orders submitted by technicians.

· Communicate with customers to determine levels of quality and satisfaction.

• Work with the sales team to identify trends in customer requests.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Institute problem-solving actions as it becomes evident problems may exist.
• Work with the Parts Manager to ensure the required materials are ordered for the job.
• Ongoing communication with customers to resolve any issues.
• Other duties that are customary to the position, although not directly assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Computer literate with the ability to learn applicable business software applications.
• Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must hear well enough to answer and speak on the phone. Must be able to read forms, reports, work orders, and computer screens.

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
