Job summary

GFI Digital is seeking a Technology Alignment Engineer to manage technology alignment for a variety of clients. You'll perform on-site visits, maintain client environments, and build strong client relationships with the vCIO and Project Manager to ensure project success.

The role emphasizes documenting environments, supporting escalation, staying current with tech trends, and contributing to the Technology Standards Committee.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent in IT or related field
• Minimum 5 years of IT engineering experience
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure
• Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization
• Networking experience: LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless
• Backup and disaster recovery experience
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, MCSA or higher
• Ability to work standard hours with occasional after-hours as needed

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular on-site visits to clients to maintain relationships and environments
• Maintain an overview of each client's environment and ensure systems run efficiently
• Review past support tickets to reduce hours via automation or training
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align services with business goals
• Perform Technology Alignment surveys and assess client environments
• Assist the vCIO and Project Manager in solution development and SOW creation
• Document client environments to aid troubleshooting
• Serve as escalation point for support issues outside standard hours
• Stay informed about emerging technologies to improve services
