Job summary

GFI Digital is seeking a Technology Alignment Engineer to manage technology alignment for a diverse set of clients. You will build strong client relationships through regular on-site visits and closely work with the vCIO and Project Manager to develop solutions and ensure project success.

You will document environments, analyze past tickets, and pursue automation to reduce support hours while staying agile to evolving priorities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years in IT engineering.
• 5+ years with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, AD, M365, Azure).
• 5+ years with server virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V).
• 5+ years with networking (LAN/WAN/VPN/Wi‑Fi).
• 5+ years with backup and disaster recovery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Relevant IT certifications preferred (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+; MCSA or higher; CCNA or higher).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular on-site visits to maintain client environments and relationships.
• Maintain overview of each client's environment and system health.
• Review past support tickets to reduce hours via automation or training.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology with business goals.
• Document client environments for efficient troubleshooting.
• Escalate issues when needed and stay current with emerging technologies.
