Job summary

Santander Consumer USA Inc. is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor in New York. You will identify client needs, propose investment and insurance solutions, and grow a portfolio while meeting regulatory standards.

In partnership with branch leadership and licensed professionals, you will drive client engagement, close sales, and deliver exceptional service consistent with Santander practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, MIS, Statistics or equivalent field is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of sales achievement with high ethical standards required.
• 1+ years of experience providing investment guidance and advice.

Responsibilities

• Attain and exceed investment sales, revenue, and client engagement goals.
• Conduct client appointments in person, virtually, and by phone to identify needs and recommend solutions.
• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio through relationships and ongoing guidance.
• Maintain compliance with applicable FINRA, bank and insurance regulations.
• Collaborate with branch leadership to identify opportunities and referrals.
• Provide coaching and product awareness to branch teams.
• Participate in sales meetings, training, and development programs.
• Develop and execute business development activities aligned with objectives.
• Build internal relationships to support client acquisition and retention.
• Maintain accurate records and timely sales reporting.
• Maintain required licenses, registrations, CE, and regulatory training.
