Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a client-focused financial professional in New York to help clients plan and reach their financial goals. You will build financial plans using brokerage products and tailor banking and investment strategies to client needs.

Responsibilities include triaging client requests, referrals to internal partners, and expanding the client base through referrals and networking. Licenses and training are required or pursued as part of ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
• Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
• Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs and recommending solutions
• Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
• Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client's interest in a complex environment
• Executes multiple tasks simultaneously
• Learns and adapts to new technology or applications
• Currently holds FINRA SIE (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Works with clients to plan short and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products
• Recommends banking and investments strategies that align with client goals
• Triages client requests and makes referrals to appropriate internal service providers
• Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or center clientele
