Morgan & Morgan, P.A. seeks a Case Manager to join our on-site team in Columbia. You will support attorneys by developing settlements, preparing documents and correspondence, and handling a varied caseload with a customer-focused, empathetic approach.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, can multi-task, and communicates clearly with clients, carriers, and medical providers. This role emphasizes hands-on collaboration with the legal team.

Qualifikationen

• Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager preferred.
• At least 2 years in a legal position or insurance adjuster experience preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Extensive computer and database expertise: Word, Excel, Outlook; type at least 35 wpm.

Aufgaben

• Interact with clients daily by phone and in person.
• Order and relay medical records with clients and providers.
• Gather documents to support injury or liability positions.
• Communicate with insurance carriers and healthcare providers for records and balances.
• Negotiate settlements and deduction of medical balances with providers.
• Coordinate with team to manage case files from intake to close.
• Prepare demands and submissions to carriers.
• Present case summaries to attorneys when required.
• Maintain organized case files and deadlines.
