Job summary

First Mid Bank & Trust is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Mahomet, IL to deliver friendly, accurate service at our branch. You will process transactions, open basic accounts, and ensure compliance while helping customers meet their financial needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Successfully completes required compliance and training for basic account opening.

Responsibilities

• Create a quality service experience by ensuring timely resolution of customer needs and satisfaction.
• Proficiently service customers by processing transactions with accuracy and within policy guidelines.
• Open accounts including basic checking and savings, and other related banking tasks.
• Maintain a cash drawer and balance daily; assist with branch operations as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience; communicate ideas to management.
