Job summary

Truist in New Bern, NC is seeking a Regular Teller/Client Service representative to provide timely and accurate client transactions and build relationships. You will educate clients on digital banking options and support outbound calls, selling suitable services while safeguarding funds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• 6 months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office).
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by handling complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital banking options (ATMs, Online & Mobile).
• Support team sales via outbound calls and referrals.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Pursue product knowledge through meetings and training.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issues.
