Job summary

Orrstown Bank is seeking a Banking Specialist III to serve as the primary new account and loan representative at the branch. You will use the bank's conversation strategy to discover client needs, propose solutions, and secure commitment while managing risk and maintaining excellent client experience.

The role includes processing basic transactions as needed, working toward deposit and loan growth, and mentoring newer staff as part of the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Minimum of two years in related banking positions with specialized banking and sales training.
• One year in related banking may be considered with a post-secondary 4-year degree.
• Three years in outside sales may be considered in lieu of banking experience.
• Strong reading, verbal and written communication, math, computer and interpersonal skills; detail oriented.
• NMLS Registry required post hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary new account and loan representative for the branch.
• Engage in conversational discovery to align client needs with solutions and commit to goals.
• Assist with processing paying/receiving transactions as needed.
• Balance risk with strong client experience and sound judgment.
• Support branch goals through client conversations and cross-sell opportunities.
• Coordinate with supervisors and partners to drive deposits and loan growth.
