Job summary

Orrstown Bank in Bel Air, MD is seeking a Banking Specialist III - Teller/CSR to act as the primary new account and loan representative for the branch. You will engage clients with a consultative approach, cross-sell products, and support routine teller transactions while maintaining risk controls.

The role requires 2+ years in banking with sales training, a high school diploma, and NMLS post-hire. The position emphasizes client service, product knowledge, and collaboration with partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in related banking positions with specialized banking and sales training.
• One year of experience in a related banking position may be considered with the completion of a post-secondary 4-year degree.
• Three years of demonstrated success in outside sales may be considered in lieu of banking experience.
• NMLS Registry required post hire.

Responsibilities

• Engage in client conversations to support deposit and loan growth and branch goals.
• Identify sales and service-to-sales opportunities and expand client relationships.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Bank products, services, and channels to match client needs.
• Proficient in online banking, mobile banking, and debit card management.
• Support marketing and sales strategies through outbound client outreach and referrals.
• Serve as primary new account representative and balance teller transactions as needed.
• Perform notarial acts per state guidelines.
• Assist with branch opening and end-of-day processes.
• Mentor new associates and support onboarding in the branch.
• Oversee operational reporting with Branch Operational Specialist and monitor accounts.
• Understand and apply Bank BSA/AML policies and complete required training.
• Complete annual regulation, sales, and service training.
