Job summary

Citi is seeking an entry level Universal Banker in Maspeth, NY to assist in sales, products and services with the customer service team. The role builds customer loyalty and drives sales to consumer clients.

You will support account openings, resolve service issues, and execute transactions while maintaining compliance and risk controls. This part-time position offers opportunities to engage in sales campaigns and seminars within the branch.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in banking or retail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve issues promptly.
• Support branch sales/service activities during seminars and campaigns.
• Adhere to controls and regulatory procedures to ensure safety of assets.
• Assess risk and escalate control issues with transparency.
