Job summary

Truist Financial in Gambrills, MD is seeking a Universal Banker to provide timely client service, process transactions accurately, and support sales and service activities. You will help with outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to tailor Truist solutions to clients' needs.

Responsibilities include educating clients on digital banking, handling complex transactions with guidance, and maintaining compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years teller/cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with travel/overnights as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience and handle complex transactions with guidance.
• Educate clients on digital/self-service banking options (ATMs, Online/Mobile).
• Support sales through outbound calls and client referrals to branch teams or specialists.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Pursue ongoing product/knowledge training and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures, and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution, managing workload.
